A: Deposit & Final Payment

20% of the total tour fee should be pre-deposit when you confirm the tour plan. The full or final payment is required 30 days before departure. Should the tour booked within 30 days before departure, a full payment is required .Receipt of your deposit or final payment will indicate that you and your travel agent (when applicable) have read these Terms and Conditions, and that you (and your agent) have accepted them. The Terms and Conditions below are based on the contractual relationship between and its clients. It is extremely important for clients understanding and accepting these Terms and Conditions for their quotations, itineraries and other relevant communication with our travel advisors.

B: Payment Methods

Customers could pay their fees via the following THREE methods:

1. Secure online payment by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express etc) through PayPal or Money bookers

2. Wire transfer

3. Cash payment, travelers’ check and company check is applicable upon special request, but personal checks is NOT accepted.

C: Refund

In the event of cancellation we will refund all your payment made to Kailash Guide dot com (cancellation fee is applicable) when we receive your written cancellation request 14 days before your departure.

D: The following fee will be assessed per person according to when you cancel your Tour.
Up to 30 days prior to departure: US$100 per person

30-15 days prior to departure: US$200 per person

14-4days prior to departure: 50% of the full payment

100% of tour fare will be charged as penalty for any cancellation made within 48 hours prior to departure or no show on the departure date. When a traveler cannot complete the tour for any reason, unused portion of the tour is non refundable.

E: Notes
We are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days during your tour.

F: Insurance & Documentation
The liability insurance that we buy for our customers is very basic, with limited coverage and restricted regulations. Thus, Kailash Guide strongly recommends customers to acquire international standard travel insurance coverage before departing from your home country, which may cover trip cancellation, trip interruption, emergency medical evacuation and medical expenses, baggage lost, etc. In case of medical emergency in remote places of Tibet, you will most likely be taken to the nearest medical facilities or airport by a car (or local way of transportation), where you can catch the next flight to a better facilitated hospital in mainland China.

G: Responsibility or Health Requirements
As one of the world’s highest region, Tibet is at a special geographic environment, and some travelers may suffer from Acute Mountain Sickness and the complications. The Client must advise the Company in writing, at or prior to booking, of any physical, emotional or mental condition which (a) may affect your ability to fully participate in the trip; (b) may require professional attention during the trip; or (c) may require the use of special equipment. If any such condition arises after the trip is booked, you must advise the Company in writing immediately.


The Company reserves the right to decline or cancel your reservation, or to remove you from a trip in progress, if the Company reasonably determines your condition would adversely affect the health, safety, or enjoyment of you or of other participants. If the Company removes you from a trip in progress pursuant to this paragraph, you will not be entitled to any refund of your Trip Price and the Company shall have no further liability.


If you have a condition as contemplated herein, you travel at your own risk. The Company is not liable for any injuries or damages you may suffer relating to such a condition, including without limitation loss of special equipment, lack of assistance with or accommodation of special needs, and unavailability of medical assistance or treatment.


The Company is not responsible for the costs of any medical treatment you may require during the trip. Under no circumstances is the Company responsible for the quality of medical care, or lack there of, you may receive while on the trip.

H: Complaints & Claims

If you feel unsatisfied with any service Kailash Guide .com has provided, you can let your guide know about it or you can inform our company directly by phone or fax/email. We will try our best to meet your reasonable request at any time.

I: Rate of hotels listed in the itinerary
our tour price is based on twin sharing basis (two persons sharing one room with twin beds). If some client requests to stay in a room/cabin alone, the single room/cabin supplement will be charged. No additional charge for children under 12 years of age when sharing the room with their parents. Extra bed will be charged per room night and extra breakfast be added per person. Without special request, our rate normally includes the breakfast each day inside the hotel.

J: Entrance fees
Tour rate includes entrance fee for scenic activities as listed in the itinerary. The visit of additional activities and change of the activities might result in the extra charge for the entrance ticket, transportation and guide service.

K: Private car / van Transfers
Our tour rate is based on the private transfer between airports, hotels and all sightseeing activities. If separate arrivals and departures are requested, there will be extra charges.

L: Personal Guide & Driver service
Our tour price has included the fare for the guide and driver service. Normally without any special request, we will assign the English-speaking guide and driver in all area.

M: Service Charge & Government Taxes.
Our tour rate has included the service charge and all government taxes already.
